香山　好きじゃないです、全然。

勝間　私、好きなんです。洗濯物がパリッとなったり、お皿がピカピカになったりするプロセスが大好き。自分の行動で物が変化するって、楽しくないですか。だから私、ご飯を食べて「ああ、おいしい」と思うだけで毎日が幸せです。今日も昼間、子どもの友達とお母さんたちがうちに遊びに来たんですが、デリバリーでとったサンドイッチがおいしくて、幸せでした。

香山　ご飯で幸せになれるんだったら、別に仕事で成功したり、資産を増やしたりしなくてもいいんじゃないですか。

勝間　おいしいご飯のためには、そこそこの経済力とスキルが必要です。いいレストランが判断でき、素材を吟味できたほうがいい。使いやすいお玉や粉ふるいを選んだり、レシピを5分短縮したりすれば、子どもと遊ぶ時間も捻出できます。

香山　私は、そんな血のにじむような努力をしなくてもコンビニ弁当で十分幸せです。カツマーと呼ばれる人たちは、勝間さんがご飯のためにこれだけ努力していると聞いたら、「このままではダメなんじゃないか」と思うんじゃないでしょうか。
